Igbos should be freed, says Kanu's father

Abuja - Eze Kanu, the father of Nnamdi Kanu, has said
that the Igbos should be "freed", as they have invested
a lot in Nigeria, Pulse reported.
Kanu has remained in detention over treason and
ancillary charges.
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
was arrested last year in October.
"I believe that the Igbo should be free today and
tomorrow," Punch quoted Eze as saying.
Eze said Biafra was economically viable and that
anyone who did not believe that was "not
knowledgeable".
