Abuja - Following a month-long stint in the
custody and detention of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), ex-
Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode is set to be
arraigned over N1.5 billion fraud.
According to a Naij report, Fani-Kayode is set
to appear in court alongside ex-Finance
Minister Nandi Usman, as well as Jimoh Yusuf.
The defendents will appear on 17 counts
bordering on money laundering and fraud over
their alleged sharing of N4 billion is monies
from the presidential campaign fund of the
People's Democratic Party (PDP), YNaija
reports.
The accounts of the accused have since been
frozen by the EFCC, with Usman having
returned N23 million to the EFCC despite having
two of his properties in Abuja seized by the
anti-graft agency.
